Engie North America and Meta have completed an Environmental Attributes Purchase Agreement (EAPA) that enables Engie to supply 260 MW of renewable energy from its Sypert Branch solar project located in Milam County, Texas. Meta will purchase 100% of the facility’s output, which is expected to commence operations in late 2025.

Project Overview

The Sypert Branch solar project, developed by Engie, is strategically situated 70 miles northeast of Austin and approximately 10 miles from Meta’s data center in Temple, Texas. Engie will be responsible for both the construction and operation of the solar site, enhancing local renewable energy infrastructure.
