PNE AG has successfully completed the sale of its two Swedish subsidiaries, PNE Sverige AB and VKS Vindkraft Sverige AB, to Norwegian energy supplier Aneo. The subsidiaries are located in Gothenburg and Motala, respectively, and are known for their commitment to renewable energy development.
Overview of the Project Pipeline
The project pipeline included in the sale consists of wind energy and photovoltaic (PV) projects with a total output of 300 MW across various stages of development. Additionally, there are plans for a further 700 MW of projects still in the early stages of development, positioning Aneo for significant growth in the renewable energy sector.
Details of the Transaction

While the purchase price remains undisclosed, PNE AG’s Chief Executive Officer, Heiko Wuttke, expressed enthusiasm about the sale, stating, “We are delighted that in Aneo we have found a buyer who is just as committed to the expansion of renewable energies as we are.” He further noted that Aneo would retain the employees of the two companies and continue the projects that PNE AG has initiated.
PNE AG’s Future Plans
Wuttke mentioned that the proceeds from the sale would be reinvested in the further growth of PNE AG’s core markets. With over 30 years of experience in developing onshore and offshore wind projects, PNE AG is well-positioned to continue its focus on expanding its renewable energy initiatives.
This strategic sale not only marks a new chapter for PNE AG but also enhances Aneo’s portfolio in the renewable energy landscape. Both companies share a vision for sustainable energy solutions, which will drive future growth in their respective markets.
