Vestas has confirmed an order to supply V236-15.0MW turbines for the Oga Katagami Akita offshore wind project, led by Jera in Japan. The project, which will be located off the coast of Akita prefecture, involves the delivery of 21 turbines during 2026. Commissioning is planned for 2027, with commercial operations targeted for June 2028.
