Syrcuit Energy Solutions, Inc. has announced the appointment of two new members to its board of directors, effective November 1, 2024. Glen Davis and Erik R. Olbeter, CFA, were unanimously selected, bringing a wealth of expertise and strategic partnerships to support Syrcuit’s expanding portfolio of renewable energy projects.
Glen Davis: A Leader in Renewable Energy
Glen Davis previously served as the CEO and Director of Sunfolding, Inc., a company known for its innovative solar trackers. His extensive background includes leadership roles such as President and CEO of Renewable Energy Systems (RES) Americas, where he oversaw commercial activities, corporate strategy, technical and financial analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and new business development. Davis has also held director positions at several renewable companies, leveraging his comprehensive network to create valuable opportunities for Syrcuit.
Erik R. Olbeter: Financial Expertise in Energy
Erik R. Olbeter, CFA, co-founded Innovas, a private firm that aids the U.S. Federal Government in technology acquisition and analysis, particularly in security and defense. During his tenure as CFO, Olbeter helped grow annual revenues from approximately $1 million to nearly $40 million. He also served as Senior Vice President at ICF International, managing over 200 consultants in the Energy Advisory Services group, focusing on both traditional and renewable energy markets. His extensive experience on Wall Street as an energy and technology analyst further enhances his contributions to Syrcuit.
