According to Forbes, rapper Ye’s conflict with business partners has cost him his billionaire status.
Ye, also known as Kanye West, has recently seen his business relationships with luxury fashion house Balenciaga, Gap, and most recently Adidas come to an end due to his antisemitic remarks and donning a shirt with a slogan associated with the Ku Klux Klan.
Ye was removed from Forbes’ list of billionaires on Tuesday, according to one of the top organizations for tracking the wealth of the world’s financial elites. Although Forbes now pegs the Adidas deal’s contribution to his net worth at just $400 million, the previous assessment put it at $1.5 billion.
