JSW Energy announced on Friday that its subsidiary, JSW Neo Energy, has successfully completed the acquisition of 125 MW of renewable energy assets from the Hetero Group for an enterprise value of approximately ₹630 crore. Details of the Acquisition

The 125 MW portfolio consists of wind projects located in Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra, all backed by long-term power purchase agreements. According to a regulatory filing, the portfolio boasts a blended tariff of ₹5.22/KWh and an average remaining plant life of 15 years.

With this acquisition, JSW Neo Energy’s total locked-in capacity now stands at 24.7 GW, featuring a diverse fuel mix and various offtakers. The transaction values Hetero’s portfolio at approximately ₹630 crore, excluding net current assets and other adjustments related to the Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs).
