Eurowind Energy has announced a new power purchase agreement (PPA) with Arla, marking a significant step in their collaboration. This latest agreement spans a decade and guarantees Arla 60,000 MWh of electricity annually, sourced from wind and solar energy generated by two of Eurowind Energy’s upcoming energy parks.
In 2022, Arla took its first major step towards achieving its goal of 100% green electricity by 2025 by entering into a 10-year power sales agreement with Eurowind Energy from the Norre Okse So wind park. This new agreement builds on that foundation, ensuring that Arla will collectively purchase nearly 2 TWh of electricity from Eurowind Energy’s renewable energy parks over the duration of the contract.

Eurowind Energy specializes in the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy parks. A key aspect of their business model includes selling electricity to larger customers, enabling these companies to secure a reliable supply of green electricity. This is particularly important for larger organizations that have substantial energy demands.
The partnership between Eurowind Energy and Arla underscores both companies’ commitment to sustainability and the transition to renewable energy sources. By securing a long-term supply of green electricity, Arla is taking significant strides toward its environmental goals while supporting the growth of renewable energy infrastructure.
The new PPA between Eurowind Energy and Arla not only strengthens their partnership but also contributes to the broader movement towards sustainable energy solutions. As both companies continue to innovate and expand their renewable energy initiatives, they are setting a precedent for corporate responsibility in the energy sector.
