The Cimbali Group, in collaboration with Solarelit powered by Greenvolt, has launched a new solar installation at its Dolo facility in Venice, aimed at promoting sustainable production of high-quality coffee machines and equipment. This project will generate 230 kWp of renewable energy, further enhancing the group’s commitment to sustainability.
Key Details of the Project:
- Sustainable Energy Production: The new installation will provide additional sustainable energy output for Cimbali’s operations.
- Long-standing Partnership: The collaboration between Cimbali and Greenvolt began in 2010, resulting in a total capacity of nearly 800 kWp across various installations.
- Energy Generation: The existing systems generate approximately 3,700 MWh of energy over an area of 4,500 square meters, significantly reducing CO2 emissions by an estimated 2,400 tons annually.
- Alignment with EU Goals: Cimbali’s sustainability efforts align with European Union objectives, with 54% of its energy sourced from renewable resources and 7% self-produced.

João Manso Neto, CEO of The Greenvolt Group, emphasized the importance of this project, stating, “Developing a new project with a leading company in its field, such as Cimbali Group, is a significant achievement for the Greenvolt Group.” He highlighted the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy for self-consumption and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to expanding its decentralized solutions across Europe to support decarbonization efforts.
