In 2016, Alperia launched its first sustainable development plan and issued its first green bond through a private placement, made possible by the knowledge and dedication of BNL BNP Paribas. Alperia, which has committed to investing €1.7 billion in commercial and industrial activities supporting the energy transition by 2031, has made sustainable finance a key component of its growth strategy.

Strong investor demand resulted in an issue that was nearly twice oversubscribed. Furthermore, foreign investors demonstrated their interest by purchasing over 70% of the bonds that were placed. Alperia is able to enter new markets thanks to the success of its green bond offering.
