Da Vinci New Project Solar Park Completed in Romania

The Da Vinci New Project solar park has officially been completed in Nanov, Romania, marking a significant step forward in the country’s renewable energy initiatives. Developed by Alive Capital, this solar park spans 25 hectares and boasts an impressive installed capacity of 23 megawatts (MW).

The solar park is equipped with 39,600 high-efficiency solar panels connected to 78 inverters, each capable of 275 kilowatts (kW). This advanced setup is designed to maximize energy production while ensuring reliability. Additionally, the project includes an energy storage system with a power capacity of 5 MW and a total storage capacity of 10 megawatt-hours (MWh). This system will enhance the flexibility and stability of Romania’s power grid, supporting the integration of renewable energy sources.

The new solar park in Nanov aims to boost renewable energy and reduce carbon emissions.

One of the key benefits of the Da Vinci solar park is its positive impact on the environment. The project is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 88,310 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent each year. This reduction aligns with Romania’s strategic goals for increasing the use of renewable energy and decreasing reliance on fossil fuels.
