Motor Fuel Group (MFG) has submitted a planning application to install electric vehicle (EV) chargers at the Morrisons filling station located in Emneth, near Wisbech. This initiative is part of MFG’s broader strategy to enhance EV charging infrastructure across the UK, aiming to make charging as convenient as traditional refueling with petrol or diesel. The company emphasizes its commitment to providing accessible and affordable charging options for all drivers, regardless of their location [1].
In addition to the EV chargers, the planning application also includes proposals for a new jet wash facility at the site. To accommodate these changes, an existing car wash will be removed. The filling station is situated on the A1101 Elm High Road, directly opposite the Morrisons supermarket [1].

A decision from West Norfolk Council regarding this application is anticipated next year, which will determine the future of the proposed installations [1].
