Energy Vault Partners with Enervest for 1,000 MWh Battery Storage Project in New South Wales

Energy Vault, a leader in sustainable, grid-scale energy storage solutions, has announced a significant agreement with Enervest Group for the deployment of a 1,000 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) at the Stoney Creek site in New South Wales, Australia. This initiative is set to enhance grid reliability and support the increasing renewable energy capacity in the state.

Project Overview

The Stoney Creek BESS is a critical component of Enervestโ€™s strategy to create a more resilient power grid. The system will provide flexible, grid-scale energy storage, improving the efficiency of renewable energy generation while stabilizing the New South Wales power grid and reducing its carbon intensity.

Energy Vault will act as the turnkey engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning partner for the project, and will also offer long-term services, software, and maintenance support throughout the projectโ€™s lifecycle. The BESS will utilize Energy Vaultโ€™s proprietary X-Vault integration platform and B-VAULTโ„ข product, along with the Vault-OS Energy Management System for optimized operations.
